Kinsler Fuel Filter – 8400 Series Mega Monster Mesh 

The Kinsler 8400 Series Fuel Filters bring proper filtration to high performance fuel systems. With minimum pressure drop, a large filter area and premium material, Kinsler Fuel Filters rise above the rest with others being too restriction (causing them too much pressure drop) or have too little media area (causing the filter to clog quickly). Suitable for Gasoline, Methanol and Nitromethane applications.

How to Select the Correct Kinsler Fuel Filter

With the Kinsler Fuel Filter Megan Monster Mesh you can make four custom selections:

1. Housing and end cap colour (blue, black of hard anodized)
   Kinsler recommend Hard Anodized for best corrosion resistance.
   
2. Inlet End Cap (8AN male, 10AN male, 12AN male)
   Select the correct size that matches your fuel line (inlet).
3. Outlet End Cap (8AN male, 10AN male, 12AN Male)
   Select the correct size that matches your fuel line (outlet).
   
4. Micron
   Injector manufacturers generally recommend 10 Micron for the post-pump/pre-injector position. Please seek advice for your specific application if you are unsure!

Which Micron level is suitable?

The lower the micron level, the finer the particle it filters, but the more restrictive the filter is on flow. Kinsler recommend a 100 micron filter for use pre-pump, and 10 micron filter for use post-pump (pre injectors).
