Kelford Cams RB26 Camshafts

The range of Kelford Cams RB26 Camshafts (RB26DETT) has been designed to suit a range of applications, from mild street cams with no head clearancing required, right through to the most aggressive, no-expense-spared race builds.

The Kelford range feature low, mid and high lift lobe designs. Low lift for direct fitment without head casting clearance required. Mid lift and high lift for more serious motorsport applications.

IMPORTANT NOTE – Nissan RB26 camshafts have a drive fitted to the front of the exhaust camshaft. All Kelford camshafts are fitted with RB drive type 1 as pictured (see images). If you have a later  model engine with drive type 2, please let us know this when you place your order and we will fit that type instead. Lead times may apply.

L182-A Camshaft Set:

  • 264° street performance cams
  • Good throttle response. Improved low to mid-range power and fast spool
  • Suits twin turbo upgrade or single 54mm-66mm turbo
  • OEM base circle diameter – no cylinder head clearancing required
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS15 or KVS1855-BT

L182-B Camshaft Set:

  • 272° street/strip performance cams
  • More mid-high rpm power
  • Suits twin turbo upgrade or single 64mm-72mm turbo
  • OEM base circle diameter – no cylinder head clearancing required
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS15 or KVS1855-BT

182-B Camshaft Set:

  • 260° high lift short duration cams
  • Best split between good throttle response and horsepower
  • Suits twin turbo upgrade or single 56mm-68mm turbo
  • OEM base circle diameter – cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS15 or KVS1855-BT

182-C Camshaft Set:

  • 272° high lift performance cams
  • More top end and maximum power than the 182-B
  • Suits twin turbo upgrade or single 64mm-76mm turbo
  • OEM base circle diameter -cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS15 or KVS1855-BT

182-S Camshaft Set:

  • 274°/270° split lobe high lift cams
  • Good balance between throttle response and high rpm power with a large turbo
  • Suits 62mm-72mm turbo. Great with E85. Ideal for well built engines with +1mm valves and ported head
  • Reduced base circle diameter – cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS1855-BT

182-SE Camshaft Set:

  • 274°/270° split lobe intake, 280° exhaust
  • High lift racing cams – suits larger exhaust cam to suit 3.0L+ bottom ends
  • Suits 64mm+ turbo. Great with E85 – ideal for well built engines with +1mm valves and ported head
  • Reduced base circle diameter – cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS1855-BT

182-SF Camshaft Set:

  • 288°/280° split lobe intake, 292° exhaust
  • High lift racing cams – best suited to wide open throttle racing applications where high rpm power is most important
  • Suits 68mm+ turbo
  • Fuel type E85 or methanol
  • Ideal for well built engines with +1mm valves and ported head
  • Reduced base circle diameter – cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes
  • Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS1855-BT

182-SG Camshaft Set:

  • 292°/288° split lobe intake, 300° exhaust
  • High lift drag racing cams – to suit high boost alcohol drag engines running 80mm+ turbo
  • Ideal for well built engines with +1mm valves and ported head
  • Reduced base circle diameter – cylinder head requires machining for clearance of high lift cam lobes.
