The Haltech hydraulic lug crimping tool HC5 is an ideal solution for crimping SurLok connectors on your NEXUS series VCU.

Providing up to 5 US Tons of force, the HC5 can precisely crimp a variety of cables including battery and welding cables as well as terminal lugs.

Its black oxide finish provides a durable, rugged solution to protecting your crimping tool and prevent marring when swapping dies. Included in the kit are 8 electroplated crimping dies in 4, 6, 10, 16, 25, 35, 50 and 70 mm2 sizes.

Also included is a Hydraulic Rebuild Kit which helps in increasing the working life of the crimper as well as maintaining its optimum performance.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Before each use, inspect the general condition of the HC5. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, cracked or broken parts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation. While crimping, make sure to not overcrimp the dies past initial contact. Excessive pressure can result in damaging the dies and hydraulic piston. Do not drop or damage the crimp head. Never crimp wires that are electrically charged. Ensure the tool has sufficient hydraulic oil in the piston before operation.

Keep your hands and fingers away from the crimping die when using the hydraulic crimper. Do not use an extension for added leverage on the fixed handle. Store your HC5 in its carry case and keep the case in a clean, dry, safe location out of reach of children. To clean, use a clean cloth with a mild detergent. Dry with cloth. Do not use solvents.
