Returns Policy
This Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases from streetracesolutions.com.au (“the Site”) and the Street Race Solutions store at 54 Mort Street, North Toowoomba, QLD, 4350 (“the Store”), unless otherwise specified. The Site and the Store are owned and operated by Street Race Solutions (“SRS”, “we”, “us”).
1. General
At Street Race Solutions, customer satisfaction is our priority. We understand that from time to time you may want or need to return a product to us. We have created this Policy to enable you to return products to us under appropriate circumstances.
This Returns Policy applies to customers regardless of their geographical location. This Policy is not intended to impede on any statutory rights you may have under current consumer rights legislation.
In accordance with Australian Consumer Law and the terms set out in this Policy, we offer refunds, repairs and/or replacements for all applicable products available on our Site.
Any benefits set out in this Policy may apply in addition to consumers rights as outlined under Australian Consumer Law.
Please read this Policy before making a purchase, so that you understand your rights as well as what you can expect from us in the event that you are unhappy with your purchase.
By making a purchase from our Site or our Store, you agree to the terms as outlined in this Policy, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, except where they are superseded by Australian Consumer Law.
2. Eligibility
Street Race Solutions offers refunds, repairs and replacements in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Products are eligible for returns only if the item has what is considered a major failure. This is when an item:
- has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it,
- is unsafe,
- is significantly different from the sample or description,
- doesn’t do what it said it would, or what you asked for, and can’t be easily fixed.
Under Australian Consumer Law, our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the goods, you are entitled to:
- cancel the purchase
- a refund for the price of the goods, and
- compensation for any damage or loss (whether direct or consequential) that was, or reasonably could have been, foreseeable by us.
If the failure with the service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to a re-supply of the goods within a reasonable time, or to cancel the purchase and be provided with a refund of any price paid.
Proof of purchase may be required to confirm eligibility for a refund.
3. Returns
Where you have no other legal right to return a product and receive a refund, you will nonetheless be entitled to return a product to us where:
- We receive the returned product within 14 days following the date of receipt of the product,
- The returned product is unused, in its original unopened packaging (with any seals or shrink wrap intact), with any labels still attached and otherwise in a condition enabling us to resell the product as new,
- You comply with the procedures as set out in this Policy, and
- None of the exclusions set out under section 6 apply.
4. Product Damaged During Delivery
Street Race Solutions will take every precaution to ensure that your products arrive to you in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that a product which you ordered is damaged during delivery, please contact us as soon as possible (within 14 days) with photographic evidence of the damage, as well as your order number and contact details by emailing returns@srsparts.com.au.
Any damaged product must be returned in the condition in which it was received, together with any packaging and any other items which you received with the damaged product.
Upon the return of the damaged product(s), Street Race Solutions will organise to repair or replace the damaged product with an equivalent product, or to provide a refund or store credit, provided that you contact us within 14 days from receipt of the product.
Street Race Solutions reserves the right to deny a refund or exchange for any products that they, at their sole discretion, have determined were not damaged during delivery.
5. Returns Procedure
In order to exercise your rights as outlined under this Policy, you must inform us of your intention to return or exchange your product(s) by emailing returns@srsparts.com.au.
Any product(s) returned to the wrong address will be considered not received and no refund or credit will be granted. The purchaser will be responsible for paying postage costs associated with returns under this Policy unless a prior agreement is reached in writing.
Street Race Solutions are not responsible for lost packages or items that are damaged in return shipping, and therefore strongly suggest you pack all items carefully and track all items when posting. Please include your full name and order number with your return to avoid any delays in processing your refund or credit. Please ship returns to:

6. Exclusions & Custom Builds
Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Policy, Street Race Solutions reserves the right to refuse a repair, replacement or refund for any products or services purchased if:
- You misused the product(s) in such a way that caused the product failure
- You knew or were made aware of the failure(s) with the product or service(s) before you completed your purchase
- You asked for a service to be done in a certain manner, or you asked for alterations to a product, against our advice, or you were unclear about what you wanted
- Any other exceptions apply under Australian Consumer Law.
Any product made to your specification through individual inquiry (including engine packages) are not eligible for return under this Policy. We do not allow returns or exchanges on items that have been custom fabricated or modified specifically at a customer’s request. However, we do understand that mistakes can be made, and we are more than happy to work with you to make sure the product is exactly how you want it. If you have an item that has been customised or modified, and you are unhappy with it, email info@streetracesolutions.com.au and we will work with you to find a solution.
Street Race Solutions does not offer refunds or replacements for change of mind, or if you find the same product(s) or service(s) cheaper elsewhere.
7. Refunds
Customers may receive a refund or store credit for the price of any product properly returned by you in accordance with the terms outlined in this Policy, excluding the original delivery charges and excluding the costs of returning the product to us unless prior agreement is reached.
We will typically refund any money received from you using the same method used by you to complete the original purchase. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and within 14 days of the day we receive your returned product.
Returns from customers may be subject to a 10% restocking fee subtracted from the total refund amount, at the sole discretion of Street Race Solutions. Transaction charges from financial institutions (PayPal, Stripe, etc) will not be refunded.
Refunds and store credits are provided at the sole discretion of Street Race Solutions.
All returns will incur a 15% restocking fee.
8. Improper Returns
Where you return a product in contravention of this Policy (and where you do not have any other legal right to return the product):
- We will not refund or exchange the product,
- We may retain the returned product until you pay to us such additional amount as we may charge for re-delivery of the returned product, and
- If we do not receive payment of such charge(s) within 14 days of issuing a request for payment, we may resell, destroy or otherwise dispose of the returned product in our sole discretion without any liability to you.
